gSPARKs

Great SPARKs (gSPARKs) is a mentoring initiative for young students, researchers and innovators who wish to turn bold ideas into real projects. It connects them with experienced scientists, entrepreneurs and industry partners worldwide.

Through gSPARKs, mentees receive individual mentoring from qualified experts, support in shaping their research questions and projects, and, where possible, access to research, development and prototyping facilities, as well as guidance on funding and investment pathways.

The goal is to move from idea to impact: transforming innovative concepts into applied research, tangible prototypes and new collaborations. In doing so, gSPARKs helps bridge the gap between young talent, academia, industry and the wider extreme engineering and innovation ecosystem, providing participants with a concrete pathway to develop and showcase their work.
